I am a very experience birth doula of 18 years. I have supported over 300 births and from background I am a qualified adult and childrens nurse, the longest standing hypnobirthing teacher and trainer in the area (16 years) and am the owner of The Bump and Baby Hideout in Sale where we provide a nurturing hub for everything pregnncy birth and baby related.
Courses available range from Antenatal birth and Postnatal prep course, Breastfeeding home visits, Night nanny/ Overnight support, Daytime Support, Daytime Support.
what we offer
Antenatal, Postnatal and Doula
You can start from 20 weeks pregnant and I recommend starting before 30 weeks if possible so you have plenty of time to practice but if you are already past here don’t worry we can arrange this. I will support you by phone/email after the course right up to your birth. The course is for mums and a partner.
My courses fill up very quickly so I do recommend booking early for a course that gives you time afterwards to practice.

Course location and directions
Pure Birth classes are held either at The Bump and Baby Hideout set in my large peaceful garden. The Hideout is located just two minutes off the M60 motorway, junction 6 in Sale, South Manchester. The Hideout, 196 Dane Road, Sale, M33 2LG
Or at Wythenshawe Hospital birth centre.
The postcode for the hospital is M23 9LT but the maternity department for those of you who don’t know is on Floats Road so the directions are below;
From North and West: exit M60 at junction 5, head south on A5103.
From South, exit M56 at junction 3.
From East, exit M60 at junction 3, follow M56 to junction 2.
Then, from all directions, take A560 towards Altrincham. Turn left into Southmoor Road , turn right onto Ledson Road then left again onto floats Road and the Maternity carpark is on left up that road.
